It's no secret that Kris Jenner wanted to look her best for daughter Kim Kardashian's upcoming wedding in 2011.

So Kris Jenner decided to go under the surgeon's knife and have a facelift ahead of Kim's big day, which was televised on E!.

It has to be mentioned that Kris appeared thrilled with the natural-looking results of the operation.

Talking about the procedure , Kris' surgeon Dr Garth Fisher stated: "To be even more beautiful for Kim's wedding, I performed a Format Face Pinnacle Lift on Kris Jenner.This is a very customised premium quality, natural face rejuvenation procedure designed to freshen up and open the eyes, elevate the cheeks, and provide youthful contours to the jawline and neck."

Fisher added: '"This procedure allows quick healing. She looked gorgeous before of course and looks absolutely stunning now and is very happy with the results."

Kris' daughter Khloe also revealed that Kris had gone under the surgeon's knife, when she told the "New York Daily News" her mother had the operation about '"a month ago."

Khloe claimed: "She looks amazing. They say you are supposed to have a lot of swelling for a week or so after, but I didn't notice."

Video footage of Kris before and after surgery has been published on the E! website.It shows Kris in tears as she sits in the waiting room surrounded by her children.

"I don't want to die," Jenner stated.
Kim soothes her, saying: "Don't be nervous. If you're scared you don't have to do this. I'm sure everyone gets scared."

The children then pile on top of their mother for a group hug before they wave her off to surgery.

 

As she recovered from the operation, Kim assured her the results were already positive.

"Mom, you look fab," she said. "So gorgeous."

Of course, the reality TV family are no strangers to plastic surgery.

Even Kris' husband ,Bruce Jenner, has had several facelifts while her daughter Kourtney has had a breast enlargement.

Kris Jenner may have gotten breast implants, as her cleavage has the look commonly typical after breast augmentation.

According to Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer  "Kris Kardashian does appear to have had a breast augmentation as apparent by her breast implant demarcation.   She has little tissue covering the implants so it is easy to recognize."

To conclude, Kris Jenner is rumored to undergo a number of cosmetic surgeries including  rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and not to mention non invasive procedures such as botox and fillers.

Jenner talking about her plastic surgery procedures on her face insists that  the procedures didn’t affect her face but simply tightened up saggy skin around her neck.

"American Idol" Finalist To Honor Donna Summer's Memory

Erika Van Pelt - the 10th place finisher on this season's "American Idol" - states that Donna Summer gave her a huge leg up in her music career and now she feels the need to honor the Disco Queen's memory on the upcoming "A.I." concert tour.

Van Pelt reveals that she opened for the singer during a fundraiser in Dallas last summer and feels she owes a huge chunk of her success to the experience.

Erika claims she wants to pay tribute by singing the Donna Summer classic, "On The Radio" during the "Idol" live tour but ultimately it's up to the producers to sign off on the plan.

Van Pelt states she's she's crossing her fingers until the official lineup is announced.

"American Idol" Finalist Needs Surgery Immediately !

Phillip Phillips , one of the finalists on "American Idol", has been urged by his personal doctor to get surgery immediately but Phillip wants to work through the pain and the risk so he can win next week.

According to many "Idol" sources, when Phillip returned home to Georgia last Saturday, his family doctor spent almost the entire stay by his side and was alarmed by what he saw: Phillip wasn't eating and looked horrible.

It has to be noted that Phillip suffers from severe kidney problems and at the beginning of the competition it got so bad he had a stent put in as a temporary fix until he could have surgery. But the condition has worsened and Phillip's doctor told him he needed surgery now. Phillip claimed he was not going to drop out of the show so the doctor told him he certainly had to go under the knife immediately after the finale.

The recovery time for the surgery is at least 6 weeks.
Phillip's condition is taking its toll and the medication results in dry mouth and it's had some impact on his singing.

It has to be mentioned that Phillip has also missed some of the field productions that are shot for the show, including the Ford commercials. According to "Idol" sources, making him go on location for these shoots were just too taxing.

Donna Summer's Friends "Shocked" By Her "Private" Illness !

Donna Summer's death Thursday at age 63 following a 10-month battle with cancer, hit friends, fans and colleagues hard in different ways. Two people who had a close, decades-long relationship with the Disco Queen, her former manager Joyce Trabulus and Trabulus' son (and Summer producer) Evan Bogart, spoke with TODAY's Matt Lauer via satellite from L.A. to share their memories.

Trabulus revealed that while they had once been very close, she was not aware of Summer's illness. "I was very surprised," she stated. "Shocked, really." But, she claimed, she realized why Summer kept her diagnosis quiet. "She was a very private person and wanted to be with her family, and I think she would not have had the opportunity to keep going with all the projects that she was doing. No grass ever grew under Donna's feet."

Bogart knew Summer his entire life and then grew up to work as a producer for some of her music. "It's kind of weird growing up and knowing Donna the legend, Donna the name and Donna the person as a kid," he recalled. "Actually being able to go in the studio and work one-on-one with her ... was magical."

When Summer first became a big star, recalled Trabulus, she was really starting from ground zero: "She was living quite a normal life in Munich when we found her," she said. "She came over as a star, and she had to learn how to do choreography and dance and makeup and everything on the road. She was very brave, and took it all on."

"Donna Summer Was A Nonsmoker" Family Says

The family of Donna Summer is hitting back at media reports that smoking contributed to the Disco Queen's death on Thursday.

Summer died of lung cancer, family members said in a statement on Friday. However, they claim that contrary to some reports, Donna Summer was a nonsmoker.

"Obviously, numerous factors can be attributed to the cause of cancer in general, but any details regarding the diagnosis and subsequent treatment of Ms. Summer's case remain between her family and team of doctors," the family quoted as saying.

Jennie Garth And Tiffany Thiessen: Former Friends-Now Enemies !

Former Beverly Hills, 90210 stars - and enemies! - Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty recently ended their 20-year war and onset rivalry to forge a surprisingly solid friendship.

And while Garth, 40, and Doherty, 41, have also mended fences with Tori Spelling, things aren't quite so warm between Garth and fellow 90120 gal Tiffany Thiessen.

Joining the cast of the beloved teen soap in 1994 after Doherty's scandal-plagued departure, Thiessen, 38, and Garth quickly became BFFs off-camera-with Garth even tapping Thiessen to be a bridesmaid at her wedding.

But they've since had a falling out according to "Us Weekly".

During a 2009 party, a guest recalls, a stone-faced Garth wouldn't even look at the White Collar actress when Thiessen said "hello".

"Finally, Jennie snapped, "OK? You got me?"," the guest states. "Tiffany looked sheepish and Jennie walked away It was very awkward."

On the other hand, things are much sweeter with Garth, Doherty and Spelling these days, with Garth even leaning on Spelling, 38, in the wake of her painful divorce from husband Peter Facinelli.

"It's like high school friends that you fought with but now love," another source claims. "They're a big part of your past!"

Kanye West: Cameo On Kim Kardashian's Show !

Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Kanye West is chronicled on this Sunday’s season premiere of "Keeping up with The Kardashians", where we watch Kanye get something Kim's ex Kris Humphries never could have: sister Khloe's approval!

"Kim and Kanye are like two peas in a pod," Khloe reveals Kourtney of Kanye, 34, as they attended the opening of RYU, the restaurant venture from Kourtney's baby daddy, Scott Disick.

Still if viewers are hoping for a full-on Kanye-fest because of his newfound relationship, they might be disappointed, according to Kim.

"I'm not going to be taking a bubble bath and drinking champagne or on a sex swing like Khloe and Lamar do," Kim told E! News. "It's not going to be like that. If we are having dinner and he does show up, I'm sure we're not going to go, "Stop the cameras!""
