First of all, the tiff started when Hamm , who is best known as Don Draper on AMC's "Mad Men", gave an interview with the U.K.'s Elle magazine. Hamm obviously has a problem with reality TV culture. "Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated," Hamm stated. He continued, "Being a [expletive] idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture... You're rewarded significantly."Not surprisingly, Kardashian was none too pleased by the statement. Kim took to Twitter to voice her own opinion. "Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, "stupid," is in my opinion careless."
Taking the high road, Kardashian then continues, "I respect Jon, and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We're all working hard, and we all have to respect one another."
Not to mention that Kardashian does have her defenders. "You don't make that kind of money unless people are willing to pay for your products. I don't think they're stupid at all, but enterprising and playing a rare streak of good fortune. It's not like they're being paid out of your tax dollars."
